First Annual Virtual Art Mart
Stay safe and holiday shop online with me and about 40 other Dallas area artists at the First Annual Virtual Art Mart. The event site will launch on December 5 and continue through December 23 at this location: https://friendsofthebathhouse.org/artmart2020.
The Friends of the Bath House are pleased to announce that despite the Cultural Center’s closure for much needed renovations, you will still have the opportunity to holiday shop for unique, artistic gifts online while supporting local and regional artists at the Bath House’s first annual Virtual Art Mart. Since 2003, the Friends proudly have supported the much awaited live event and are thrilled that we can continue the tradition online.

Valentine’s Day
The last time I checked in here, Thanksgiving and Christmas were upon us. Then I woke up Thanksgiving with a nasty head cold than merged with allergies and I spent the next month plus mostly in bed and sick, sick, sick.
So now it’s almost Valentine’s Day. I managed to make some special edition catnip snake cat toys so that your cats don’t feel left out come February 14.
Click here to grab one for your felines before they sell out.
artmart 2019
Hello Dallas. If you are lucky enough to live here or will be visiting the weekend of November 22-24, be sure to stop by the Bath House Cultural Center for artmart and start holiday gift shopping artfully! I’ll be there selling all my critter creations. Hope to see your smiling faces.
Holiday Extravaganza
Attention Dallas! I’m going to be selling my creations in person for a change of pace.
The shop formerly known as Makers Connect will actually be popping back up, like Brigadoon, for a short time on Thursday, November 7! This show is free to the public. Hope to see your smiling faces in my booth.

Time Flies
I really didn’t mean to go this long without updating my blog. Life truly does get in the way sometimes.
I’ve been busy selling lots of catnip snakes (thank you) and making more to keep up with orders.
My llama pillows were selected to appear in a juried art show and were purchased there. (Thank you).
Also I’m working on new wildlife critter pillows that will be on the way to my Etsy shop soon.
Lastly, the saddest was that our dog Mickey died from old age. He was blind, deaf, almost lame but hung in there until his body just couldn’t go anymore. He was adopted as a young adult dog and we guess his age at passing was about 16 years. He is missed.
I will try to pause and take time to keep you updated on what I’m making, doing and finding interesting these days. Thanks for reading.
Holiday Shopping
Consider visiting my and other small shops this holiday season instead of the usual big box store. You’ll be bringing smiles to both the recipient of your gift and the small shop owner. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
