If you live in Dallas or are lucky enough to be here this weekend, Thursday through Saturday, December 15 to December 17, come to beautiful downtown Dallas and get your last minute holiday shopping done while supporting local artists/businesses like mine. Exactly like mine since I will be there with all my critter creations and I’m very excited. I am one of the lucky vendors at Unbranded, a pop-up retail and event-space showcasing the best of Dallas’ creative community. Created by Matt Alexander and Bryan DeLuca. Located at 1517 Main St. right across the street from The Joule Hotel. Thursday’s hours are 5pm to 8pm. Friday is 12pm to 7pm and 2pm to 7pm Saturday. Hope to see your smiling faces there.
My crocheted critters and prints are currently visiting the Prairie Creek Branch Library, another fabulous branch of the Dallas Public Library, and will be there until the end of September. As enter the library you will find them on the left side of the hallway in a big display case.
Mike and I are power users and supporters of the Dallas Public Library system so I am pleased to share my work with their patrons. This is the third branch my critters have visited and they hope to visit more in the future.
You can visit my etsy shop to learn about my critters and prints. Enjoy.
The Dallas Flea has a new look and name and location! I’ll be there with all my critter creations. Hope to see your smiling faces in my booth.
I’ve added some new big dog shaped pillows to the shop. Go check them out and maybe give one a new home for the holidays.
You might remember back in the spring of 2014 I was excited that several of my photos of my crocheted dogs were in a newly published book. Well, three of those same photos are making an appearance in a soon to be published kids art book called DIY Dog Portraits. My crocheted dogs are featured as inspirational works that a kid learning to crochet would want to make someday. Pretty cool, if I say so myself.
