Catnip Snakes

I have been making catnip snakes recently. I draw with black Golden fluid acrylics onto bright colored fabrics, sew around the shape and then stuff with lots of fiberfill and catnip. My cats love their snake, they carry it around, kick it, rub their faces on it. Really cute. I keep meaning to document their snake follies but haven’t got around to it yet. I have been selling these snakes locally at the monthly White Rock Local Market. Last night I sold some at the 3rd Friday Art Crawl in the Dallas Arts District. One of my customers went home and captured her happy cat and his snake on video, and has allowed me to share her video with you. Enjoy, I surely do.
UPDATE: I’ve started selling my catnip snakes in my Etsy store if you’re interested in making your kitty very happy. Click here.

I just hope Dante will kick his snake to heck when he gets it! This is a great testament to your snake-making ability!
