Crocheted Squirrel

I know everyone expects to find photos of crocheted critters here on my blog, usually of the canine or feline type.  But recently, I decided to “branch” out and explore creating the critters that dwell in the trees behind my house, or inhabit the area around the creeks that run through our property. This is Stanley, my crocheted version of the squirrels that torment my dogs with their antics and chattering. I did not use a pattern. I, as usual, just made it up as I went along, using the live action outside my studio windows to guide my creating. He has already found a new home and I suspect I will be making  his siblings soon.
