Spring Is Just Around The Corner

At least that’s what we hope the groundhog tells us on Wednesday. To get us in that spring mood, let’s think of warm, spring-like words. Words like tulips, wooden swing set, daffodils, sidewalk hopscotch, sandbox. Feel warm and springy yet? How about bicycles, jump rope, hula hoops, drinks on the patio? Getting warmer aren’t you?

Did you notice that there’s a link to a CSN store that sells swing sets, bikes, etc.? The perfect spring store. And to really get us in the spring mood, those lovely people at CSN are offering one of my readers $55.00 to spend at any of their very cool 200+ online stores such as www.Cookware.com or www.AllModern.com. Now that’s a springy nice thing to do.

So, to enter to win that $55.00 in CSN bucks, all you have to do is comment below and tell me what you’d spend that $ on. Let me know which store and what item. I’m nosy. That’s all you have to do. Starting now and let’s end on the last day of January, because spring is just around the corner. On Tuesday, February 1, I will have the handy random number generator pick a winner.

Get to shopping.

WE HAVE A WINNER

The random number generator picked #6 so Jeff Lowry gets a new kitchen faucet from www.AllModern.com or whatever else he chooses from any of the CSN stores. Congratulations Jeff!

Spring means the ground is finally ready for planting and it’s time to make plans for the garden. And spring cleaning. The old Polish housewife I’ve become will strip and scrub everything in the house…which is always a good time to assess what needs updating. Maybe a new rug, maybe new curtains, maybe a new jelly pot. Oh the possibilities are endless.

Could use some new door mats this spring. Love this colorful, but durable one:
