WE HAVE A WINNER!

Thanks to everyone who entered, I loved reading where you would use this fabulous rug. Very inspirational. I should have thought about hanging it up so the cats couldn’t get to it.

The winner was picked using the list randomizer from random.org. And the lucky future owner of this very cool rug is:

jenny s-g

Congratulations jenny s-g, I hope your new rug looks marvelous in your craft room and chases all the beige blah-ness away.

———————————————————————————————————————–

Yes, you read that correctly. A free rug. For some lucky reader. The good people at CSN Rugs have made available to me, for giving away, this fabulous 30″ x 30″ fuchsia & lime cool milkweed pattern cotton rug. CSN Rugs has quite the selection of modern, contemporary area rugs. I had fun perusing their selection and wishing my cats didn’t think rugs were litter boxes. No rugs on my floors. But one of you, dear people, will get to be the owner of this very hip and fashionable rug.

So here’s how to enter: leave a comment on this post telling where in your house you will use the rug. Then tell a friend to come do the same and have them mention in the comment that you sent them. I will then go through the entries and those with mentions get extra an entry. That’s an entry for their original comment and an entry for being mentioned on their friend’s comment. The contest is open now and will end June 22, 2009 at 11:59pm CST. I will utilize random.org to pick a winner. Contest is only open to USA and Canada residents. The winner will be notified on June 23 and I will post their name then as well. Good luck!

Wow, Patti, that’s supremely cool. I do like the rug.

I would put it in our office. It would go wonderfully on the hardwood maple floors, olive green painted walls and built in pine bureau. As well as complement the collection of silk screen rock posters.

The rug is gorgeous. Like you I have cats and dogs, so I would utilize the rug as a wall hanging, where it can hang around and laugh at all the cats and dogs…”you can’t get me”!

New apartment. Just moving in. 30 x 30. Fuchia and lime. The floor is 75+ year old parquet, real wood that has recently been refinished and re-nailed. I toy with the idea of a bright patch of color in our ante room which we are setting up for tv and web surfing. His and her desks along two walls, tv/media center on 3rd wall, 4th wall is double wide glass door into the next room. In the center of the floor this lovely square of color and design.

Wow, I love the rug! I’d use it in my craft room to give the overwhelming beigeness of the space more color (I share with my husband, so I’m limited in what I can do–he does not approve of either my vibrant color choices or my cozy “cave” choice (why isn’t chalkboard paint a good idea for a daylight basement?).

I NEED this rug, I’m obsessed with dandelions, as you can see on the past posts of my blog….

I know you said these are milkweed, but they look like dandelions to me!

I’m sorry I forgot to tell you where I’d put the rug. It’d go in my kitchen with the rest of my dandelions.

Hi! I just found this site by Facebook. (one of my friends is a crocheting person) and I somehow got to this page. I think that is a beautiful rug! I would put it in my room because I am redecorating it soon. I would put it in the middle of the floor and if one of my cats come in I would pick it up, fold it, and hide it (the rug of course!). Thanks for all the great pictures too! I wish I could crochet, but I can’t really.
