Pineapple Baby

Our little pineapple baby is getting bigger thanks to all the rain we’ve been having. baby pineappleAnd its getting warmer so the baby appreciates that as well. I can’t remember how long it takes until the baby is ready to eat. (doesn’t that sound horrible?) I always forget to mention to click the photo to be whisked to flickr and bigger sizes. Hard to believe that the mother plant was started by cutting off the top of the pineapple I was going to eat. All I did was stick the top in a pot of dirt and watered away.

Of course, I bring the plants in during the winter and give them a sunny spot. But I never imagined that I’d be having pineapple babiesbaby pineapple
