It’s That Time of the Month: Market Time!
The temperatures are rising, the flowers are blooming and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables await you this Saturday morning at the White Rock Local Market. Also, there will be wonderful handcrafted creations, delicious baked goods and other fun stuff available. If you live in Dallas or are just lucky enough to be visiting our fair city this weekend, come on by and check it out. The market takes place from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm Saturday, May 12 on Buckner Blvd. @ Northcliff Dr. Hope to see your smiling faces in my booth.
It’s Market Time Again
It’s spring again in Dallas. You can tell by the sniffles all around. Everything is blooming. This is also the time of year when I pack up my critter creations and head down the street to the White Rock Local Market. If you live in Dallas or are just lucky enough to be visiting our fair city this weekend, come on by for fresh veggies and flowers, delectable baked goods and wonderful handmade items. I have branched out. I now have my creations available at another website, the coolest cat shop on the net, hey kitty kitty. New Catnip Snakes

Drawing Doxies
I have been in the mood to draw on fabric again, I guess the catnip snake adventures got me in the mood. So this past weekend, I started drawing on patterned cotton fabric and the first thing to leap out of my studio was this quartet of dachshunds. They’re all hanging out in my Etsy shop, click on the picture to be taken there to view more images and have the opportunity to adopt one of these cuties. Enjoy.
Catnip Snakes
I have been making catnip snakes recently. I draw with black Golden fluid acrylics onto bright colored fabrics, sew around the shape and then stuff with lots of fiberfill and catnip. My cats love their snake, they carry it around, kick it, rub their faces on it. Really cute. I keep meaning to document their snake follies but haven’t got around to it yet. I have been selling these snakes locally at the monthly White Rock Local Market. Last night I sold some at the 3rd Friday Art Crawl in the Dallas Arts District. One of my customers went home and captured her happy cat and his snake on video, and has allowed me to share her video with you. Enjoy, I surely do.

It’s Market Time & The Weather Will Be Perfect Once Again
This Saturday, the weathermen say the high temperature is supposed to be a beautiful 73°. Makes me glad that once again I’m packing up all my critter creations and setting up my booth at this month’s market.
If you live in Dallas, or are lucky enough to be here this Saturday, November 12, come by the White Rock Local Market and see what I haul out of my studio and bring along. I have a new crocheted striped wienie dog that should be ready to bring along by then. Will also have a couple of plush holiday turkeys with me.
There will also be lots of fresh veggies, baked goods & honey for sale as well as vendors of handmade and cool items like vintage bikes. While the main attraction will be the local produce and other delectable food stuff, the handmade selections are very fine indeed.

It’s Market Time
The weather is finally gorgeous here in Dallas and Saturday the White Rock Local Market is happening again at the Green Spot between the hours of 8am and 1pm. Perfect time to pick up fruits, veggies, bread, cookies and maybe a critter or two. I’ll be there along with my critter creations and assorted other delights.

It’s time to come out from hiding, the weather is finally tolerable. I admit to hibernating for most of the last couple of months. But not this Saturday, the high temperature is supposed to be 89° so I’m packing up all my critter creations and setting up my booth at this month’s market.

I’ve been working on catnip snakes, hand drawn on fabric and stuffed with fluff and catnip. The test model has been well-loved here at the house of six cats. I might have a few with me Saturday.
