Hurry Spring
February 23, 2008
I want it to be spring. I’m tired of the lack of flowers. I long for blooms. So I have wandered through some of my old images and am posting this lovely peony bloom from my backyard. My peonies came with the house, I take no credit for their gorgeousness. They appear briefly once a year bringing beauty and subtle sweet fragrance. I can’t wait.
I have uploaded this image to my Imagekind account. If you like this pretty peony as much as I do, you may want to order it as a print or card. I think this pretty pink peony would make a lovely Mother’s Day card, don’t you?

YES, hurry spring. I hate when everything outside is either gray or brown. I like fresh bursts of color. I especially like peonies because they remind me of cottage gardens in England…I fancy myself in a pale blue dotted swiss dress out wandering in my garden in England…yeah, right…haaaa. In reality I’m shuffling through my yard full of henbit and wild onions.
